Smarties will always do that unfortunately, it’s why I use M&Ms x

125g of butter. When baking best to use grams

The recipe is 1 + 1/2 as you need one and a half, so as you have doubled the recipe, it comes out as 2 + 1 due to formatting. x

I’m probably being a bit thick but why 2+1 baking powder, why not write 3?

It creates the texture of cookie and prevents them spreading too much x

What will the difference be if the dough isn’t refrigerated first?

Many thanks.

Hello there Jane,

I’d like to make these sometime for a Christmas gift. However for the red and green chocolates, is that 100g of each colour or 50g of each?

They can be quite delicate if they haven’t cooled properly, or if they are slightly underbaked x
