I was just wondering, if you choose to use the classic meringue topping rather than Italian, will the meringue need cooked first before using the blowtorch method? Thank you!

Just wondering if I could do my pastry and lemon today and add the meringue tomorrow before serving? Thank you

Fantastic pudding. Just the right amount of lemon in it.

Can’t wait to make this. Does it stay in the tin until it’s ready to be served, or do I take it out of the tin once the pastry is baked? Thank you!

Did you freeze it? Was it OK?
I’m wanting to, but wasn’t sure.

Made lemon meringue pie for Christmas, as I remember my mum used to make it, followed the recipe step by step, it turned out perfectly! Meringue not too sweet and the lemon a little sharp which contrasted lovely! Thank you Jane for bringing happy Christmas memories!!
